1.Introduction

The study and research of linguistics have experienced a long way that can be traced back to 2000 years ago. With the development of linguistics, the category of linguistics is more and more delicate. As one of branches of linguistics, the study of child language plays a very important role in individual’s linguistic development, as it is regarded as the beginning of linguistics [1]10. As for an individual, language starts from a baby’s first word, such as some single words and some interjections. Therefore, child language is attached more and more importance by linguistic study among experts and professors. Since the publication of D.Tiedemann’s The Dairy of Baby’s bahavior(1787), child language started to arouse people’s interest [2]. The founder of child psychology, W.Preyer of Germany published Child Psychology(1882), and German psychologist L.W.Stern published Child Language(1907),which made child language beginning to be studied and researched [2]. In Child Language, Jean Stilwell Peccei outlines the major areas of linguistic analysis involved in the study of children’s language and covers key areas such as: vocabulary development, word and sentence structures, conversational skills and pronunciation. The study of child language is a process that needs to be constantly developed and improved, therefore it is also called developing linguistics [1]10. In order to explain the acquisition of interrogative sentences by children, this paper will first discuss common rules about acquiring words, and combining words into sentences, then discuss the acquisition of yes-no and wh-interrogative sentences, and finally explores some factors affecting children’s acquisition and some effective ways to promote children’s acquisition.

 2. Study on child language

Possessing a language is quintessentially a human trait: all normal humans can speak while nonhumans cannot. Acquiring the first language is something every child does successfully, in a matter of a few years and without the need for formal lessons. With language so close to the core of what it means to be human, it is not surprising that children’s acquisition of language has received so much attention [1]10.
The study of child language has its broad sense and narrow sense. In its broad sense, it involves all language activities. Its narrow sense refers to the development of child language, including three main aspects, the development of language system, the development of language capability and the development of child language acquisition theories. Nowadays, almost all the studies and researches proceed in the narrow sense. Child language acquisition is a complex subject, as it involves child psychology, psyche language, linguistics, child cognition, social linguistics and so on.
